I am a primary school teacher with 35 years experience across all age groups in the classroom, including the special needs area of primary education. I have a special interest in the area of psychology and enjoy helping children and adults overcome socially and emotionally challenging issues in their lives.
I took some MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) courses to help cope with stress in my personal life and was led to the studying and completing the Masters degree in Mindfulness-based Interventions in UCD. As part of this degree I hosted an 8-week MBSR course online via Zoom and am now fully qualified to deliver MBSR courses. I have also completed a MBCL (Mindfulness-Based Compassionate Living) course run by Frits Koster.
I am a full member of the MTAI (Mindfulness Teachers Association of Ireland) and of the INTO (Irish National Teacher’s Organisation).
I live in Co. Meath and I am available to offer one-to-one individual Mindfulness training sessions or to deliver courses in Meath, North Kildare and West Dublin to specific groups by arrangement..
I maintain my personal practice daily and do retreats and mindfulness half days on a regular basis.
